Witnessing a Miracle

I feel like I need to post this so I will be able to look back on it. I don't think I will forget it anytime soon, but just so I have it. So last night, Ty and I needed to go help Hal bring the cows up from the field. I decided to take the girls with me and we would just take the rhino. I decided the easiest thing to do was to put Oakley in her car seat and strap her into the rhino. We got down to the bottom of the field, and I had to hold the gate so we could sort. I kept looking back at the girls to make sure they were ok. All of a sudden, I heard the rhino start. I turned just as it came flying past me. Cashlee had somehow managed to push the break in which you have to have pushed in to start it, and had the gas pedal clear to the floor. They hit the post right to the side of me and it luckily turned them and headed them down the fence line. Ty and Hal were on horses trying to get close enough to them and I was running behind them. All I could think was please please let it stop. I looked up just to see them hit the ditch and run into the water. Cashlee must have hit her head on the steering wheel and it bounced her back and her foot came off the pedal. We ran up to them and Ty grabbed cash who was so scared and telling her dad I am sorry. I didn't mean too. I grabbed Oakley out of her car seat and was looking her over, and apprantly she was ok because she started laughing. Cash ended up with a huge bruise on her cheek, but that is it. I have never been so scared in my life nor do I want to ever feel like that again. It was a blessing that the post turned them, it was a blessing they landed where they did in the ditch. If they would have went a inch in either direction, the rhino would have tipped on its side. I am truelly grateful that someone was watching over them. It made us learn some valuable lessons, but it also made me realize how fast they could have been taken from me. I am so grateful that they are ok and am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be their mom. I also learned that the key comes out everytime in the RHino.
